The customer brought in their transitional patterned area rug for specialist in-plant cleaning, soil extraction, and colour rejuvenation. The rug had accumulated heavy-to-moderate embedded soil from regular foot traffic, alongside noticeable dulling and faded areas across the geometric motif fields, requiring thorough, fibre-safe care (no fringe construction).

We provided a comprehensive multi-step rug washing and textile restoration treatment. Our specialists initiated the process with harmonic dusting to dislodge dry abrasive particles from deep within the pile and foundation. We submerged and hand-washed the rug using gentle, pH-balanced cleaning solutions tailored to safely lift ground-in dirt without stressing the fibres or causing colour migration. Following an extensive clear-water rinse, we groomed the pile and dried the rug in a climate-controlled drying room to revive its soft texture and restore tonal balance across the design.
