We provided a comprehensive multi-step rug washing, pile lifting, and textile decontamination treatment. Our technicians initiated the process with thorough harmonic dry dusting to vibrate and extract deep-set abrasive soils from the backing and foundation. We submerged and hand-washed the rug using gentle, pH-balanced wool detergents, followed by an enzymatic bath to break down pet urine salts and neutralise organic odours at the molecular level. Technicians then applied targeted steam pile-lifting techniques to release compressed fibres and erase heavy furniture marks. Finally, we groomed the nap for uniform texture alignment and transferred the rug to our temperature-controlled drying room to restore fibre softness and aesthetic balance.
