The customer brought in their modern striped area rug for specialist deep cleaning, pile restoration, and structural grooming. The rug had accumulated heavy-to-moderate embedded dry soil, visible nap distortion across main traffic lanes, noticeable furniture indentation marks, and pulled surface fibres requiring careful trimming and realignment

We provided a comprehensive multi-step in-plant rug washing and textile rejuvenation treatment. Our technicians began with harmonic dry dusting to agitate and extract embedded dirt and grit from deep within the foundation. We submerged and hand-washed the rug using gentle, pH-balanced detergents to safely lift ground-in dirt without damaging the synthetic or wool blend fibres. Technicians addressed crushed fibres using targeted pile-lifting techniques to ease out furniture depressions, carefully trimmed and secured loose, pulled fibres, and hand-groomed the nap direction. Finally, the rug was dried flat in our climate-controlled drying room to restore uniform texture, brightness, and pile resilience.
