The customer brought in their fine floral Persian wool area rug for specialist in-plant deep cleaning, fibre rejuvenation, and pet odour decontamination. The rug had accumulated heavy-to-moderate embedded traffic soil across its cream and red medallion fields, alongside distinct furniture indentation marks from heavy table placement and biological pet staining accompanied by lingering odours.

We provided a comprehensive multi-step in-plant hand-washing, pile lifting, and textile decontamination treatment. Our technicians began with harmonic dry dusting to agitate and extract abrasive dirt particles from deep within the wool pile and foundation. We submerged and hand-washed the rug using gentle, pH-balanced wool shampoos, followed by an intensive enzymatic immersion bath to completely break down pet urine salts and neutralise organic odours. Technicians applied targeted steam pile-lifting techniques to release compressed fibres and erase furniture indentations, hand-cleaned the white end fringes, and dried the rug flat in our climate-controlled drying room to restore fibre softness and rich colour vibrancy.
